We supply our customer base with both individually racked and barrel chrome plated screws, with the individually racked option used for any parts that will have a critical visual cosmetic component (as in guitars, hand guns, watches, etc). Barrel chrome plating is a more cost effective approach for parts that need the additional corrosion resistance but do not need to have a perfect cosmetic appearance in their application. Both standard chromium plated and tin-cobalt plated parts are available, with both RoHS compliant. The tin-cobalt plated screws are typically manufactured and plated overseas, with most of our current selection made using 316 stainless steel material and then barrel plated with tin-cobalt chrome.

These chrome plated 316 stainless steel (easy to distinguish with the stamped dot at the flat head to designate the 316) sheet metal screws were barrel plated at approximately 30,000 pieces. We stock these parts for our customer on a blanket purchase basis and release as needed throughout the year.

These chrome plated phil pan hi-lo screws were manufactured overseas at approximately 50,000 pcs and supplied to our customer on a revolving blanket purchase order basis. They measure #10-16 X 3/4" and are identical outside of the length to the #10-16 X 1/2 version we have supplied for a number of years already. 316 stainless steel material is used for optimal corrosion resistance, which is further enhanced with the chrome plating for use in highly corrosive environments.

For fast turnaround they were barrel plated domestically with RoHS compliant chromium, at a lead time of 3-4 weeks. The plain part itself is custom made to print using 316 stainless steel material, with production taking place domestically within the USA as well.
