Wall Anchors

Engineered Source is now an authorized stocking distributor for Powers wall anchors.  Powers has a complete line of anchors designed for drywall (gypsum wallboard), wallboard, paneling and solid masonry installation.  There is an anchor to fit every application and budget.

Strap-TogglesTM work on hollow walls up to 2 ½” thick and require no screw to set.  Plastic toggle anchors like the Poly-ToggleTM and the Pop-ToggleTM are perfect for medium/light duty applications where cost is critical.  The Bantam PlugTM and the Fluted Plastic anchors are for light duty applications.  The Zip-It® anchors are self-drilling and available in Nylon and Zamac Alloy.  Scru-LeadTM anchors for sheet metal and wood screws are made of soft lead alloy for installation into concrete, block, or brick.  Industry standards such as the PollyTM sleeve type hollow wall anchor and the Toggle Bolt (spring wing type) are readily available.  

Wall-DogTM screw anchors combine the holding power of a steel self-drilling anchor with the convenience of a drywall screw.  They install with a standard Phillips bit, right through the fixture and into the drywall with one easy motion.  Wall-DogsTM are available in pan and oval head styles finished in chrome or a white colored head.  They are the simplest solution for quick, secure installation into drywall.

Keep in mind that the performance of wall anchors is dependent on the integrity of the substrate and they are generally not intended for overhead use. Check out our new line and let us know how we might help you with your application.
