Engineered Source is pleased to be named as a stocking distributor for the Powers line of concrete and masonry anchors. Powers has been the leading provider in mechanical fasteners since 1921. Founded as the Rawlplug Company, the Powers family changed the name in 1996 and is now known worldwide for their expertise in all categories of anchoring products and mechanical fasteners.

The Cracked Concrete Codes in the construction industry are in full effect and are an issue in virtually all new construction.  ESI has partnered with Powers because of their unique ability to provide products that meet these codes.  As you browse through the various anchor listings on our site, be sure to click on the PDF links for each product’s technical specs, as well as for the approval reports. The Power-Stud+SD1™ is approved to ICC-ES ESR-2818, for use in Category 1, Cracked and Uncracked Concrete.  The Power-Stud+SD2™ is approved likewise for ICC-ES ESR-2502.  The Wedge Bolt®+, Snake®+™, and Concrete Vertigo®+ are all listed and approved for different building codes related to Cracked and Uncracked Concrete.  The approval reports for all listed mechanical fasteners are included on our site as PDF documents.
