As of 2007, the patented Mini-Spa connectors have become available to spa and equipment manufacturers on a direct basis.  This proven connection system has been successfully marketed and sold in the spa industry for over 10 years as LOCK ‘N SEAL^®.  The patented inner seal is what sets this connector apart when it comes to moisture barriers.  The plug and the receptacle have mating seal ridges that work to keep moisture out of the contact area, and prevent loss of contact due to vibration.  In addition, the company has added an outer seal and external locking tabs (which are backwards compatible with all connectors already in the field) to insure ultimate reliability and durability in the harshest environments.
