Mechanical Anchors

Engineered Source is proud to offer mechanical anchors from Powers Fasteners.  Powers makes high performance anchors for use in all types of concrete (normal-weight, structural sand-lightweight, and concrete over metal), as well as, brick, block and stone.

The new “Cracked-Concrete” codes have been implemented and are affecting all segments of the construction industry.  The newly redesigned Power-Stud+SD2 TM and SD1TM expansion anchors are approved and code-listed for ICC-ES ESR2502 and ESR2818 respectively.  They are listed for Category 1, cracked and uncracked concrete.   The Wedge-Bolt®+ is a screw anchor approved for ESR2526 Category 1 installations.  The Snake+ TM is an internally threaded screw anchor, code-listed to ESR2272, Category 1.
