The ASN clinch nut is designed to be installed into pre-pierced holes. The sheet metal is formed into an undercut section on the nut collar by the die button and the knurled ring. As a result the nut has high push out and torque values. The ASN nut is designed for thicker sheet metal applications (above 1.5mm). A special design of the nut can be used in thinner sheet metal applications. The unique features of this nut are that the space requirement is minimal due to the low outer diameter and that the surface on the screw side stays flat, no indents.
Can be used in thick sheet metal applications from 1.5mm to 10mm thick. Compatible with Class 8, 9, & 10 hardware depending on application requirements.
